MusiciansIn 2003 the leadership was taken up by Robert Duis - first cornet and contact-man for the band. The bands arrangements, have been focused on the instrumentation of bands such as Fletcher Henderson, Luis Russell, Mc Kinney's Cotton Pickers (Don Redman), Jean Goldkette and Duke Ellington.In 2006 we asked Peter Stove (Arranger from Holland) to write special arrangements for the Limehouse-Jazzband. Later Mauro Porro (I) and Attila Korb (HU) have been invited to write arrangements The reed section-Rob Radoux (alto-sax/cl), Alhard Zwart(tenor/alto/soprano-sax/cl) and Vacancy (tenor-sax/cl) - provide the colour and individualistic sound of the band. The brass section-Robert Duis (cornet), Louis Lanzing (cornet/tutor) and Jack Rowley (trombone) - form an important counter-weight to the reeds. The all important rhythm-section is made up of Jan van der Woord (piano), Sir Wil van Schaik (banjo), Stef Geurts (drums / vocals) and Patrick Weeghmans (B) (tuba).
